As 2026 gets underway, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the year that was and share what is ahead for Matt Gates Automotive. The past year has been a big one for our team, our workshop and our customers, and we are genuinely grateful for the trust so many drivers have placed in us.
A year of growth & big milestones
Workshop Expansion
One of our biggest achievements this year was expanding the workshop. We now offer tyres, wheel alignments and rims, allowing us to look after more of your vehicle needs in house. Alongside this, we upgraded our waiting room to make your visit more comfortable, with snacks, a coffee machine and Netflix available while your car is being looked after.
Welcome to Our New Mechanics
We also welcomed two new mechanics to the team, Luke and Zac. Their experience and dedication has helped us increase capacity and reduce wait times, meaning we can service more vehicles while maintaining the same level of care and attention our customers expect.
New Website Launch
Launching our new website was another major step forward. It has made it easier for customers to understand our services, get in touch and book with confidence. Throughout the year, we were also lucky to welcome new customers from near and far, many of whom now trust us with their regular servicing and repairs.
Positive Feedback from Our Valued Customers
A standout moment for us was reaching 100 five star Google reviews. This milestone means a lot to our entire team and reflects the honest feedback and ongoing support from our customers across Hornsby, the North Shore and beyond.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The year ahead is shaping up to be just as exciting. We are planning to expand the team further to increase our capacity and continue delivering timely, reliable servicing. The workshop expansion also opens the door to new products and services, which we will be announcing as they are finalised.
Our focus for 2026 remains the same. Clear communication, quality workmanship and making sure every customer drives away feeling confident in their vehicle.
