Matt Gates Automotive is a mechanic business that has a local workshop in Hornsby to run out its attention to detail and outstanding quality services.
With two full-time mechanics, we have the expertise to, service and repair new, near-new and older vehicles including cars, 4WD's, light commercials, vans, tradies' utes and trucks. This includes petrol, diesel, LPG gas, turbo powered, rotary and normally aspirated engines.

While we service your vehicle we inspect other components such as tyres, brakes, suspension, batteries and more. We fix the little things like a squeaky door hinge or light bulb. If you need a replacement we will point out the wear and find you a value-for-money solution.
TEACHERS, TRADIES & TIME POOR OFFICE WORKERS
While you are busy in the classroom, on the work site or at your office, Matt Gates Automotive operates a pickup and drop off service from your house or workplace. Bringing your vehicle back to the workshop to complete the service. We branch out to Sydney’s Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Northern Suburbs and North Sydney.

Our team
Matt Gates Automotive has a small close knit team of three. Starting with two professionally trained full-time Mechanics; Lachie and proprietor Matt, of whom you can trust with all your mechanic and servicing needs. The final member is Mathilda, looking after the office administration.
