LandCruiser 300 Series full suspension 2” lift overhaul

Recently, we had the pleasure of having this Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series a complete suspension transformation. The owner wanted more ground clearance, improved handling and better load-carrying capability for his upcoming lap around Australia and future adventures. After assessing their needs, we carried out a full 2” lift overhaul using premium, heavy-duty components designed for performance, comfort and durability.

Here is what went into this build:

Bilstein B60 shock absorbers & Bilstein heavy duty springs

We upgraded the factory shocks and springs to Bilstein B60s paired with Bilstein heavy duty springs.

• Why?
  • The B60s are known for their superior heat dissipation and consistent damping, which means smoother control over rough terrain and less fade on long trips.
• Result:
  • Sharper handling on-road, better control off-road and a noticeable improvement in ride comfort.

SuperPro fixed offset upper control arms

We installed SuperPro fixed offset UCAs to correct wheel alignment after the lift.

• Why?
  • A 2” lift changes suspension geometry. These UCAs bring camber and caster back into spec, improving steering feel and tyre wear.
• Result:
  • Stable steering at highway speeds and precise handling when navigating technical tracks.

Polyair airbag load assisting kit

For extra load support, we fitted a Polyair airbag kit inside the rear coils.

• Why?
  • Perfect for towing or carrying heavy gear as the airbags can be inflated or deflated to suit the load.
• Result:
  • Level ride height even when fully loaded, improved stability and reduced rear sag.
